Orders
All orders placed online or by other means are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order at our discretion.
An automated confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order does not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch of your goods.
Pricing and Errors
All prices displayed on this website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
While we aim to ensure all product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate, errors may occur. If an error is identified after an order is placed, we will contact you with the correct details before processing your order. You may choose to cancel the order or proceed with the corrected information. If we are unable to contact you, the order will be cancelled and refunded.
Product Images and Packaging
Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Actual product packaging, artwork, labelling, and branding may vary from that shown on the website due to manufacturer updates, regional variations, print runs, or supplier changes.
Such variations do not affect the functionality or authenticity of the product and do not constitute a fault.
Payment
We currently accept Visa and Mastercard. Transactions will appear on your bank statement as “Games World SA” or a similar descriptor associated with Shopify.
All online payments are securely processed via Shopify’s secure payment gateway. Games World South Australia does not store your credit card details.
Delivery
Orders with delivery addresses within Australia are generally processed within 24 to 48 hours, however this may vary during busy periods.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Once dispatched, delivery is handled by Australia Post or a selected courier service and is outside our control.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the nominated address.
Online and Instore Pricing
Online pricing may differ from instore pricing. Online pricing cannot be matched instore. Each store and the website may operate independently with different stock levels and promotions.
Price Matching
Games World South Australia does not price match competitor pricing.
Returns and Refunds
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
For change of mind returns, items must be returned unused, in original packaging, and in saleable condition within 14 days of purchase. Proof of purchase is required. Shipping costs are non refundable.
We reserve the right to refuse change of mind returns on certain items including trading cards, sealed collectibles, special orders, and clearance items.
Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to cancel any order we believe to be fraudulent, high risk, or placed in breach of these Terms and Conditions. We may conduct additional verification checks for high value or flagged transactions before dispatch.
International Orders
We service customers throughout Australia. International orders may be accepted upon request and are subject to additional shipping costs and conditions.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
