Addition By Heart is a visual way to master foundation maths facts – in just 5 minutes a day!
- Deck 1 (25 cards) is based on dots in dice patterns and goes from 1 + 1 to 5 + 5. It's all about the connections between counting, counting on and addition.
- Deck 2 (75 cards) has the rest of the facts up to 10 + 10, using ten frames to highlight the fundamental notion of making tens.
- Deck 3 (32 cards) uses bar diagrams, removing the scaffolding so kids know the facts by heart while introducing a hugely useful visualisation.
- Bonus deck: a teen numbers reference guide with the names and meanings of the teen numbers.
